In March 2020 Polly founded the Stroud Against Racism Facebook group in order to facilitate conversations within the community. Through these conversations, and through the rapid growth of the group, she formed a team.
Through this passion and forward-thinking Polly has facilitated and instigated the team towards becoming a sustainable community organisation.
Eden coordinates campaigns for change at her local schools; both for environmental change and in terms of social justice. She has made a huge impact already in the local area, and her focus on justice and equity has inspired many around her.
Kazz is an artist and creative web person who works for local arts organisations in an admin capacity and on their websites/social media.
“My passion is to use art and creative tools to show different perceptions and raise awareness of the marginalised voices in our communities. As with many people in Stroud, I believe that art and music can be used to bring a wide number of people together for a wider cause.
Anti-racism is one of those reasons to come together, and as one of the white members of the SAR team I believe it is our responsibility to create platforms for change”.
